We love this special because it gives our clients freedom to do their own design and/or planting at their own pace. They can take the time to research and select the plants they like. For the creatives out there, this can turn into a guilty pleasure. For the clients that are looking to be more active, they can get out there and get some exercise and for the clients that are on a budget, creating the beds is the first step to a more comprehensive project.

Tip: When designing your bed’s shape and border, something to remember is that straight lines and hard angles suit formal designs, in which borders are given standard geometrical shapes (squares, rectangles, circles). Gentle curves and irregular shapes have a more relaxed, natural, and therefore informal look. Take a step back (maybe from across the street), and choose a shape that fits your landscape. Don’t be afraid to mix and match, in the end we all want something unique!
